We’re hosting a private Insider session on Thursday, June 25, at 12:00 PM ET.

Most AI in HR conversations happen between HR people. This one doesn’t.

This is a CHRO and the private-equity operator who funds his decisions on the same stage, walking through how AI investments actually get backed, cut, or killed inside a real 1,500-person company.

This is not a demo.

You can ask questions and challenge.

Insider Session: Practical AI Masterclass for the CHRO. How to prove real results to owners, boards, and the CEO (LIVE)

Josh Horenstein is SVP, Chief Administrative Officer and Corporate Secretary at Innophos, a multi-billion dollar specialty ingredients manufacturer with around 1,500 employees across 8 countries. He has served as Chief Legal Officer and CHRO at the same time, in both public-company and PE-owned structures, since 2017. Josh has over 20 years advising on governance, human capital, legal, and operations.

Andrea Greene is a senior executive, board member, and investor with more than 25 years leading and growing private-equity-backed businesses. Most recently she’s worked with One Rock Capital Partners and other middle-market PE firms on strategy, M&A, and value creation. Her experience spans commercial, finance, HR, and operations, and she’s known for helping management teams turn strategy into execution.

Josh and Andrea worked side by side at Innophos for six years.

One ran the people and legal functions.

One sat on the side of the table where the capital decisions get made. They’re going to show you what AI in the people function looks like from both seats at once.

Here’s what Josh and Andrea will cover

  • Does AI actually show up in the value-creation plan, or is it just a slide that makes the deck look current? Andrea names what makes her say yes to funding an HR AI initiative and what makes her pass.

  • AI for the workforce that doesn’t have a laptop. Most of Josh’s 1,500 people are on the floor, shift-based, many without a company email. What they actually deployed for the frontline, and what an owner needs to see before paying for it.

  • The shadow-AI problem. Someone in your company is pasting data into a free AI tool right now. Why Josh thinks it’s a cop-out for a CHRO to push governance onto the lawyers, and where the owner expects HR to hold the pen.

  • The headcount question nobody says out loud. In a PE-owned business, does AI mean more with the same people or the same with fewer people? How the owner’s view and the CHRO’s view got reconciled in the same room.

  • What they’d undo, and what’s overhyped. The most oversold thing being sold to CHROs right now is named specifically.

Who this is for

CHROs, VPs of HR, Heads of People, HRBPs, and anyone running talent, performance, or career frameworks.
